Clair Smith is a Biostatistician for the SHRS Data Center. She earned her BS in Mathematics at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. Attended SIBS (Summer Institute for Training in Biostatistics) at University of Pittsburgh in summer of 2013 where she discovered her love for the field. Clair earned her Masters in Biostatistics at the School of Public Health, University of Pittsburgh, shortly thereafter. Smith previously worked for the Department of Physical Therapy and then was able to transition into her current role in the SHRS Data Center. She enjoys statistical programming and analysis, learning new statistical techniques, and working with patient health data.
